1947-ben születtem Devecserben. A pécsi Tanárképző Főiskola (ma Janus Pannonius Tudományegyetem) rajz szakán, majd a budapesti Magyar Képzőművészeti Főiskola művész-tanár szakán szereztem diplomát. Jelenleg a magyarpolányi Német Nemzetiségi Általános Iskolában művészeti tanárként tanítok. Az egyesület szakmai munkáját 2002 óta irányítom. Több egyéni és csoportos kiállításom volt.

ABOUT MAGDOLNA K. TAKÁCS

I was born in 1947 in Devecser. I graduated at the drawing faculty at teacher’s treaning colelge of Pécs ( today Janus Pannonius Science University ) and at the art-master faculty at the Hungarian Art University of Budapest. At the moment, I am the art-master at the German Gentilitial elementary School of Magyarpolány. I lead the vocational work of the club/assosiation since 2002. I had several personal and grouped exhibition.

Painting of Magdolna K. Takács is characterised by free style and own world of shapes and pictures, which is considered to be a return to the classic methods. Only matters which is originating from the artist hand itself. In this way things reserve their fraction and variety. Thus the free style is a manifestation of the subjective painter writing. It melts into itself every pictural sign, nonfigurative gesture and readable objectified segment. In her own world of pictures the sensual way of changing surfaces reserves the richness of the painting processes, fullnes of emotions. Her use of colours emphasise the transcendent being of the pictural content. Behind the surfaces brights some pictural sign, looking for harmony int he chaos.
